Groups are an incredibly important part of the culture at Medina UMC.  Groups offer us fellowship, friendship, accountability, and so much more!  If you think that you need to take the next steps in your faith,  one of our groups is the place for you!  Below we have listed a number of our groups.  If you need help finding a place to fit, just fill out the form below and we will try to plug you into a group that fits for you!

Men's Bible
and Prayer Study

This men's group meets throughout the year on Saturday mornings to offer men an opportunity for fellowship, Bible study and prayer.  
Saturday's @ 7:30am in the Cafe

Wednesday Night Community

MUMC has brought back a dynamic mid-week gathering opportunity.  Join us for dinner, chancel choir or bell choir rehearsal, Confirmation Class (grades 7-8), Kids Club, and various small groups for men, women, or couples

Sharratt Bible

Join us Monday nights at the Church from 7:00 - 8:30pm for a group based, women's Bible study.  Explore, grow, and pray together as the regular course takes you through a unique journey in faith. 

Women's Community Bible Study

Pat Sooy invites you to join in this 20+ year ongoing group of women that come from the whole Medina community to join for song and a Christ-centered, Bible based study.  Join us Tuesday's @ 9:30am or 7:00pm.   For information contact:


This Men's Bible Study meets weekly prior to worship on Sunday mornings, at 7:30am.  They utilize different book studies and also help prepare for the yearly Men's Retreat @ Camp Wanake.  For more info, contact Brett Rabung or Craig Welsh

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international mutual aid fellowship with the stated purpose of enabling its members to "stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety."  AA is nonprofessional, self-supporting, and apolitical.  Its only membership requirement is a desire to stop drinking.


Welcome to BSA Troop 501 of Medina, Ohio.  We are chartered through Medina United Methodist Church located on Foote Road.  Scouts BSA is a year-round program for youth 11-17 years old that provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help them become the best version of themselves.

McElroy Sunday School

This class meets on Sunday's at 11:00am following the Praise Service.  All our welcome as in-depth study takes place via book and video learning opportunities.  


This group offers seniors a monthly opportunity to gather for fellowship, a great lunch and an entertaining program.  Past speakers have ranged from a magician to the Pop Tarts to reenactments of great historical figures.  Please join us soon!

Gehring Sunday School Class

Every Sunday at 9:30am, this class will take you on an in-depth Bible study to help you further understand the teachings of Jesus Christ.  This session is ongoing and provides thought invoking curriculum.
