Here are more details about the this year's retreat:
Cliff Reeves (the Knife Maker) will be our Friday Night Speaker. Cliff hand crafts knives from scratch using raw materials such as high carbon tool steel or stainless steel. The handle material is formed from a wide variety of natural or man-made materials such as micarta, iron wood, and antler, which gives a comfortable feel and balance. Cliff will talk about how he does this and show us how to sharpen our own knives. Of course, we will have the normal game night after Cliff is done which traditionally includes Euchre, 7’s, Pass the Pigs, Pit, other games …… and lots of snacks.
The Saturday study will be facilitated by Craig Welsh. He will lead us in an interactive study, Forged In Faith: The Titus Mandate.
Written as a personal letter from the Apostle Paul to a trusted friend, Titus serves as a practical manual for living with integrity in a complicated world.
Though it is one of the shorter books in the New Testament, it is packed with timeless wisdom and "no-nonsense" lessons that we can apply to our lives today.
This day is designed for you to:

It will be a good day of discussion and learning. There will be break time in the afternoon for a nap, fellowship, or possibly service work at Camp Wanake. Saturday night will be a communion service and live music for the Men’s Retreat Band. (You can attend Saturday only if you wish).
We will end on Sunday with a short service of our own and then head back home.
